    Moving fedora from nagios to icinga or adding icinga may be desirable too. When in fedora it can move to EPEL and be available for RHEL, CentOS, ScientificLinux and other related distros.

    For Gentoo the "layman -a sunrise" step can be dropped, icinga is now in the main repository

      1. And so, "emerge layman" could also be dropped ;)
